Our time in Brazil focused on wokring with children who lived in the community surrounding the YWAM base with whom we worked. These children have a daily reality of drugs, porverty, abuse and the like. Our time with the kids often included playing games, coloring, dancing and singing to Jesus. It was a great time of sharing the love of Jesus with them while giving the full-time missionaries a little break. One of my favorite days was walking house to house to visit and pray with the parents of the children that YWAM worked with. They gave testimony after testimony of the change they saw in thier children's lives after learning about Jesus - less violence, more obedience - quite a shock for most parents!
